However I have so many great ideas that I've found on Pinterest that I've been wanting to try out I can't wait to get home these days! I told Pete the other night 'I have so many awesome ideas to try out, I kind of start to hyperventilate when I start to think of them as I don't know which one to pick first'! ha!
I made a few cards in the past couple days! The 'dress' one I found the cute little dresses at this dollar shop near home, loved them and got inspired! For $3 I was able to make 3 cards... not bad =)
The crayon cards were a Pinterest inspired card idea - I love them! I don't have very many 'kid related' stamps, but how cool is this idea.... make a card & leave the 'hard' part of colouring it in to the kids!!! Can't wait to send them on to adorable little kids & let them do the colouring in!
I found this painting on Pinterest and thought... I have to try that!
Mine is slightly different, I had a smaller unused canvas - so didn't have as much room to work with. I also went online and found some great silhouette drawings to work from - fell in love with this one of the lady walking her dog in heels =).. (as we all do)! ha!
No all I have to do is add the 'rain' ... not sure how I'm going to do it. I'm thinking of putting different colours of paint into ziplock bags & making a small pin hole in them... then just squeezing it out.
Stay turned.... =)
And finally - last night I tried another idea I found on Pinterest. Not 100% impressed with this outcome - or maybe it just didn't work so well for me. It was an idea to 'make your own nail colour' ... you take an eye shadow & crush it up and then add it to a clear nail colour polish. I wanted something really slight & slight 'shimmery'. Didn't take a picture of the final product, but this is what it looked like when I first dropped it in, thought it was pretty cool!
You then take a toothpick and mix it up ... I found it really difficult to mix the polish with a toothpick. I also tried to mix it with the nail polish brush and shake it... still wasn't very impressed!
Ohhh well, you win some & you loose some! =) Still the process of making it is where the fun is at!
Until next time.... if you haven't already.... JOIN PINTEREST! =)
xx
Someone suggested that you melt crayons in different shades of blue and drip them down the painting, but not sure how well that would work!! Might be interesting though. Just dont ruin the picture!
